February

We had so much fun and so much love in February! We have been reminded every single day of how blessed we are.
On February 4th, we had SEP conference for Josan. That was definitely a proud parent moment there. Miss Kinworthy said he was amazing. She told us how Josan always listens, participates and she can always trust him when she needs something. He is ahead in Math and right where he needs to be in reading and writing. We even took it a step further and asked her if there was anything we could do to help him thrive even more and she answered that she had been thinking about anything critical to tell us and just couldn't find anything! He's just amazing!!! We are so blessed!

February 8th was special and a little sad...Happy birthday Mom. There's not one day that goes by that we don't think about her and miss her so so much. I'm so thankful to have had such a thoughtful, loving, caring, giving, tender hearted and beautiful example in my life. I know that one day we'll all be together again but for now I hope she's happy. I love you Mom. I hope you know that.

Lunch date with my boys! When Josan gives us a good grade report (so far that's always been the case!;)), we let him pick where he wants to eat and we all go together. This time we got lucky and he picked Olive Garden!

We also went on a double date to Texas Roadhouse with these guys. It was packed but we got lucky and a server asked us if we would sit at the bar for a free appetizer...heck yes!

Oh Grandpa! He gets it all doesn't he? I am not sure why but not only he is Josan's favorite person, but he also is lucky enough to get all the snuggles too!:)

The girls had sweethearts and they asked me to take care of their hair since Tammy was in California with Amy and Jaycee. I didn't get a picture of Joelie since she was in a huge hurry but they both looked amazing. Their dates sure are lucky boys!

And....here's another proud parent, big boy moment. We went to see KungFu Panda 3 and we had dinner at the theater before the movie. Josan insisted on getting in line by himself to get an ice cream sample without our help. Then he insisted again on getting our popcorn by himself. "Can I have two $1 popcorn please?" He was so good, so polite. He did it like a champ!

And then a not-so-big-boy moment. We found his old binkies and he wanted to chew on them for a while...I had to let him...

I'm getting BIG! Some days are fine. Other days I struggle quite a bit. It starting to be hard to bend over, get dressed, or get comfortable. So far I had been able to run 2 and sometimes 3 miles a couple times a week. Then do DVD workouts on other days too. But it started to be super uncomfortable so all I can do now is 1 to 1 1/2 mile runs. I guess it's as good as it'll get for now. At 6 months pregnant I'll take it! Other than that we can feel the baby more and more now and we already love him so much!

For Valentines day Josan's class had a party and I was in charge of a treat to decorate. I ended up not making it cause I had a really bad cold and didn't want to get the kids sick but I still sent 25 Rice Krispie heart treats on a sticks with a bunch of sweets to decorate it. This was Josan's chef d'oeuvre!

One afternoon I forced myself to lay down for a bit and I just felt so thankful for the beautiful place we live in. We are blessed in so many ways!

Josan got invited to his friend Logan's birthday party. He hung out at Jim's house before and after and that gave us a perfect amount of time to go to the temple and then to dinner. He had such a good time!

This is one of my favorite picture right now. Josan was holding and dancing with Everly down in our -newly finished- basement and both of them were having such a good time. It just melted my heart!

On the 29th Adam went on yet another business trip to San Francisco this time. We were pretty worried since Josan and I couldn't make it this time but it ended up ok. Again, we are so blessed for Adam's job and everything it allows us to do!
