HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Pregnancy update; I've started having some major acid re-flux and I now take meds for it. The tums were definitely not cutting it anymore. I even keeps me up at night sometimes and some foods are just a no go altogether. And I'm up about 20 pounds so far. But we still feel so blessed to be able to grow our family. I still feel like I should pinch myself sometimes. I cannot believe that this is finally going to happen for us. The baby is stronger and stronger and we can now feel him quite often. Although we don't feel him as much as we did with Josan since the placenta is in front this time.
Here's a bump picture I sent to Adam. And since he's already made it public I figured might as well post it on our blog too.
We got together for Grandpa Wood's 90th birthday. It was nice to see everyone. And to see him reach his goal of 9 decades here. Happy birthday Grandpa!!
We got Josan this paleonthologist kit for Christmas and it actually ended up way fun. Josan dug out the dinosaur "bones" and then put them all together. Kept him busy for a while...
These guys were really good friends of ours when we lived in Colorado. The Clarks moved to Utah right after we did and the Fedeles visit once in a while. Jamie is actually due with baby #3 right before me. This get together was overdue for sure.
Baby boy showing off...
Even could get a little face shot this time! Every ultrasound we have we always get a good shot of the boy parts. But no face at all. Here's a tiny one!:)
This makes me so sad and so happy at the same time. Josan walked -half way- back from school by himself. Here he is being a big boy. He makes my heart melt.
And here's some reading time. If he reads I don't care how he does it!:)
3D ultrasound was so exciting! We got to see our baby's face a little bit more this time and he made sure to not leave the boy parts out of it either.
Adam had yet another business trip in January. This time it was in Lake Las Vegas. At the last minute Josan and I decided to just take Adam there and stay for a few days. Josan even got to spend the night at Grandpa's and he loved it.
Last time we were here was a little over 9 years ago. This was our goodbye restaurant every time I would take Annie to the airport when she would fly back to Quebec. Glad I will never have to do that again.
Venefi took their employees to ride in NASCAR cars around the track. The drivers got it up to 200 miles an hour! Adam loved it!
He also got to meet Ted Koppel.
Later in the month we had lunch at Grandma Darleen's on a Sunday. Josan loved their food there.
Last summer we went camping with the Olsons and found a huge pile of debris. It was like heaven for me and Josan. We love going through old stuff and find treasures. Anyways, one of the things we brought back was this old drawer face. I bought some fox hooks and VOILA! one heck of a unique towel holder in the boys bathroom!
Another big boy moment; We like to go to Pizza Pie Cafe once in a while. It's cheap and the boys like the food there. This time Josan insisted on going to get his food by himself. So he went to the pasta counter and ordered his own meal. Then he went back a couple times to get desert and other stuff. He's just so big!
We have been so blessed through Adam's job too. When we first decided to do InVitro we planned on being really tight with money for a while. We knew we'd be putting our house projects on hold and that was a sacrifice we were ok with. But this new job has been such a big blessing! We have been able to pay more of our InVitro bills than we thought, then we were able to start some of the projects we really wanted done when we bought the house. THE biggest one would be the kitchen. So in December we got things started. It was supposed to take about a month or so for everything. So we decided that was a great timing with the baby coming in May. Let's just say it has been quite the mess so far. As of the end of this month, this is how it looks like. 6 weeks in and nowhere close to being done. Let's hope it gets done some time soon!
Aunt Lorraine posted this picture of the 3 sisters. Annette is on the left, Mom in the middle and Lorraine is on the right. I love this picture!
Josan spent a good amount of his money on a Star wars Lego set. It took forever but the boys had a good time putting it together. They sure worked hard on it!
January is over, February is started and before we know it May will be here with our brand new baby boy. Our house is -sort of- getting done a little bit at the time, Adam's job is great to us and Josan is as good as usual. We are so blessed!!!!
