Here's what we left:
Here's a couple of hours later:
And then...
And then...
A couple coming from California was obviously not used ready to drive in one foot of snow driving their little Toyota Corolla. They banged in our car and forced us off the free way. The ONLY thing I could hear was: "dont push on the breaks. DONT push on the breaks. DONT PUSH ON THE BREAK." So I didnt. And we just slid our way to the fence through the snow. I pushed on the breaks right before we hit the fence. If I had before, we would have either spin or roll over. It really was so scary. Here's our car stucked in the fence.
Here's our 3 amazing kids. Gage, without knowing, calmed me down. He kept saying "We're ok. We're all ok." And after that I could finally ease my breathing a little (I was starting a asthma attack) and take care of things. Josan asked for me to hold him and, as soon as i told him I couldnt at the moment, he just stayed very quiet and calm. And patient. Taryn, our sweet Taryn, cried a little from the shock. It made me realize how much I love her. I wanted to cry because SHE was crying.
