December

December was filled with Christmas celebrations. We stayed busy all month. That was probably better that way; all of us were still missing Mom a lot and keeping our minds occupied definitely helped. We really are blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends and family that we can rely on and hang out with. It sure makes our life the best ever!

We started December by welcoming our elf Buddy back from the North Pole. He arrived right on time on December 1st and has been with us until Christmas eve. Josan absolutely loves him. He told me that "someone at school doesn't think elves are real. But I do. You know why? Cause he moves each night!" Well duh! That's so obvious! I'm enjoying every little bit of innocence that our big boy has. He's losing it so fast!

Love my 2 -almost 3- boys!!!!

This is a picture of my paternal grandparents on their wedding day. My Grandpa, Jacques Bedard, is in the very middle with glasses on and on his left is my gorgeous Meme, Diane Bordeleau. I' m not totally sure why she was not wearing a white dress. But my guess is that, since they both came from fairly poor families, this was just as good as it could get. I just love this picture; I've never met my Grandfather and my Meme played a very big part in my life. She passed away much too early, 10 years ago on October 5th at 76. I miss her so much still. She was and forever will be a great example of who I'm striving to be.

Back to Christmas celebrations, we went to Grandma Darleen's place and enjoyed making gingerbread houses, listening to Christmas music and meeting Santa.

On December 9th we had a routine ultrasound to see how Junior was doing. Usually with ultrasounds, it takes the doctor a second to position it so we can see the baby correctly. This time around, our baby was ready to show off. As soon as the ultrasound monitor was on, this is the shot we got to see. It is the hip bone with a little "extra" poking out.... :)

Another bum shot from underneath. This time with a tiny hand and arm showing.

Head and body from behind. The spine is visible at the bottom of the uterus and the heart is the black spot right above it.

IT'S A BOY!!!!

4 months pregnant! It's gone by really fast so far! The pregnancy is going really well. I have a bit of heart burns and get motion sick at times but overall my body is doing great. My mind has a bit of a hard time dealing with all the weight gain though. I try to love it but it's hard to condition myself to accept something I'm use to have some control on. I still workout 3 to 5 times a week and try to be careful with what I eat most of the time. But I'm losing control day after day. But Junior finally started letting me feel him a little too. The bigger kicks started on the 29th. It was absolutely amazing. It is something we have been wanting for such a long time that I'll take the weight gain...;)

Jazz game! Josan absolutely loved it. He was way into it every single minute of the game.

And here he is actually playing for Jr Jazz. He learns so fast!

The only lights we got to see this year are the Ogden ones. But it was super nice and not crowded at all which is a huge plus for me.

Ugly sweater! Josan didn't end up wearing the garland cause it wasn't comfortable to him. But he still had a great time at his school party. I volunteered for it and no kids really wore ugly sweaters anyways. It was just fun to celebrate as a class.

That same night we also had an Ugly sweater party too. We took ours a little more seriously. Mine actually was the ugliest one!

More Jr Jazz. This time with visitors. Josan was so proud to have is own little crowd to cheer him on!

Cute girls snuggling on our couch. They don't do that much these days...

We were invited to the Olson family Christmas party. It was so much fun. We love hanging out with those guys!

Another bump picture. There's no hiding it anymore that's for sure. Especially once I've had any food in my belly!

We also had a friend party at the Huffakers and had a bunch of fun there too. Don't let the picture fool ya; Josan enjoyed the party too.

There's that handsome smile!

Hanging with Grandpa is always the best.

  Visiting Tayler on Christmas eve.

When we left the cemetery we met the family at Red Robin and had lunch together. We decided to go see Star wars after lunch too. It was seriously one of my favorite parts of Christmas this year. I hope it can be the beginning of a new tradition.

That night we got together at Tammy's house and had dinner there. Tammy really did an amazing job through all the holidays trying to fill Mom's shoes. Thanksgiving and Christmas were both amazing; mostly thanks to her.

Getting ready for the night so Santa can come and drop off some presents.

Grandpa couldn't say no to Josan and he let him open his present before bed. He gave him a super cool Lego jet. Josan loves it!

Buddy came one last time before Christmas and made a little cake for Jesus' birthday.

On Christmas morning, we were all so tired. We opened our presents then went to Tammy's to hangout -or nap- a little. Josan got a Terrain twister, a remote control monster truck, a little monster truck set, a dinosaur bone digging kit and church clothes.

We also went to Amy's house and got to hold their brand new puppies. They're so cute!!!

Amy got Fox hats for us this year! That was so fun to see Grandma and Dad wear them!

The boys needed to rest too...

My brother sent me some pictures of what he was up to on Christmas. I loved the pictures but they made me a little home sick. I don"t get home sick often at all. But that was one time I wish I could have been closer than 2000 miles away.

My brother and step dad.

My brother and his girlfriend.

My Mom, step Dad and my brother's girlfriend.

My Dad

We visited mom the day after Christmas. We had to dig around to make our way to the grave. But it was amazing to be able to say hi. We all miss her so very much and getting together sure helped out a little.

We grabbed lunch at Taco Amigo after that.

Kyle is building their new house. Since we were so close, we went and checked their house...and new pony out!

Adam made peace with this one horse! Only this one though.

After the cemetery, Taco Amigo and Kyle's house, we went to Grandpa Wood's house to wish him a Merry Christmas. There was over 25 of us in one tiny living room but every second was great and we loved being together.

This was in Josan's stocking. He's so excited to bring it on our next camping trip!

I found that online and absolutely love it. It reminds me of why Mom, my Meme and so many more people that we love are already gone.

Josan got those headphones for Christmas too. I asked him to clean his room and I was expecting his usual whining but all he said was that he should use his headphones and listen to music while cleaning. Not only he didn't whine at all but he actually was singing and dancing while cleaning. That present sure was worth it!

20 weeks down, 20 more to go. I'm officially half way there!

Our friends the Clarks gave us Zombie dice as a Christmas present. We've been playing it every day since. Josan and I have about the same luck with it. Adam on the other hand wins  9 times out of 10. So this is our "we're sick of this Dad!" look.

Josan hates this picture. He says it looks like we're married. I personally love it.

On New Years Eve we went back to the Huffakers and hung out for a few hours. Josan had his share of holding -and snuggling- Everly. I cannot wait to see how he will be with his own little brother.

We left the Huffakers for 2 hours or so to go to Jim and Amy's. We played a bunch of super funny games and then went back to party #1.

About to ring in the new year with some of our favorite friends.

Bye 2015! Here's to an amazing new year!
