March was pretty busy but quite fun overall. We did meet with another infertility specialist. This one at U of U. We really like her so far. After talking with her we decided on a couple of extra tests followed by our next and last option at getting pregnant; In Vitro. At this point we are still at the very beginning of things but we'll see if this route leads us anywhere! But anyways here's what else we've been up to this month:
We love to get on the Front Runner. And we're pros at taking selfies on it too!
Grandma and Grandpa got this awesome Lego airplane for Josan for Christmas. He finally got it all put together thanks to the help of his friend Gavin!
We've been getting a few projects done too. The paint in this house is about 30 years old I swear! So we HAD to do something about it! I know it doesn't look too bad but this was the scariest paint job I've ever done! We had that latter jacked up pretty angled at some point and I climbed on it above the stairs. I was shaking and sweating like crazy! haha good times! ;)
We knew that Grandma and Grandpa were gonna come visit this month. So we took one more project over and changed up the outdated lilac to a grey ish color. Josan wanted to help with the last touches so bad I just had to let him. He wanted to make it look good to Grandma's taste!
We had some fun in -what we thought would be- the last snow storm of the year! Since we can't seem to know how to give Josan a sibling we just made him one! :D
On March 7th Gage came back from his mission!! We were so excited! It had been over 2 years that we had seen him and couldn't wait for Columbia to give him back to us! I was in charge of making the signs and was pretty excited. The girls helped me out and I even got Adam to paint a bit too!
Everybody was getting super antsy waiting for Gage. Good time to take pictures!
Welcome back Elder Thomas!!!
Here's a random picture I just had to throw in there. I mean I know that Josan looks just like Adam. But this picture still surprises me. They look identical!
We finally made it to the dentist. It had been a while. Josan did great! But sadly he got his first cavity.
Time for doughnuts!
Josan got shy when Gage first got back. But it didn't take too long to warm right back up.

I volunteer in Josan's class every Wednesday morning. Most of the time I'm too busy to even know what he's doing but once in a while I have a minute and snap a picture or two.

St Patty's day
Right after Gage got back Mom got the flu pretty bad and couldn't even make it to the farewell. She couldn't keep anything down for about a week and we ended up taking her to the instacare. They gave her 2 IVs since she was so dehydrated then sent her back home (our house). The next day Dad took her to the hospital again. She couldn't keep anything down. At all. She was of course dehydrated and at that point the Drs compared her weight to an anorexic teenager. She was at 98 pounds. But after talking with the Drs she agreed to take any medications they'd give her including some anti depressant. She was doing everything that she could to get better. We were all so proud of her. Something else did change at that point too. Mom had always been very sweet and welcoming to anyone crossing her path. Personally she would always hug me and tell me she loved me but always with some restrictions. But since then she was incredibly loving with all of us. I will always remember that night that I hugged her goodnight before going back home. Instead of her usual quick pat on the back she kissed me and held my arm so I would stay down on the bed laying across her. She said: "I love you. I want to be your mom and be there for you and comfort you". At that moment I knew without a doubt how much she loved me.
I got pretty lucky and watched this adorable girl one Monday.
Slowly but surely some day this boy will tie his own shoes!
Then the main event of March happened at the very end of the month; we had to watch Max because...
Everly Tayler Olson was born! She is such a sweet baby girl and is so loved already!
Congrats Olsons!
