August

Well we're finally starting to get used to being a family of four! Don't get me wrong; we still cannot believe that we have this amazing baby boy to call ours. But we're getting a hang of things at least. Calvin does't let us put him down hardly ever though. And that makes things a little harder. But who cares? Everything can -and will- wait a little bit. Plus, we have such a good helper too; Josan still loves to be a big brother! And he is so good at it! These 2 make us so proud!
We've been hanging out in the basement a little bit more lately. It is all done down there now and it's super cozy and cool. So once in a while we just go down and spend some time together.

Bro moment

Adam's work sent him on another trip in August (surprise....!) this time in Las Vegas. We decided to all go with him since his schedule was not too bad there.

Happy breastfeeding week!!!

we saw this guy (from My cat from Hell) waiting for a cab at the hotel!

After we checked out at the hotel and before our flight, we visited Dad really quick.

Back at being bros at home

I went on a Girls Night Out with Jacee, Hayley, Kara and Kelli. We went to dinner at Hug Hess and then to a movie. We seriously had a blast. These girls are definitely keepers!

The boys love each other so much! They melt my heart.

So there's a new park in our neighborhood. It's seriously the best! All we had for kids was the school's playground and it wasn't all that fun. This park is more than welcome around here! Plus, there's a 1/2 mile trail around it and a work out station...even better!

Josan and 2 of his favorite dudes

Josan finally lost his FIRST TOOTH!!!! He wiggled that bad boy like crazy and while he was looking at himself in the mirror it finally fell! He was so excited he didn't even want to give it to the tooth fairy!;)

Cute Calvin is starting to hold himself up a little better!

Then on August 24th came the first day of school. I'm not gonna lie there's a part of me that was happy for Josan to get back to a routine with learning and playing but I sure miss my big boy while he's gone. He told me before school started talking about taking care of his brother: "Mom how are you gonna do all this by yourself when I'm gone?" Oh I just love him!

Calvin sure missed Josan while he was gone!

Discovering the plastic sounds

Breakfast for our second grader!
We just love to snuggle Cal in bed!

And look at that neck!!!

More random pictures of the boys

We got our family pictures done. I think they turned out ok...:)

That's all for August! Life is good!
