December

We didn't go to any Christmas lights at all this year. We just kept on postponing until it was too late. But we did rush in The Temple Square ones super quick after dinner with the Clarks It wasn't too cold (well for me anyways) and the boys loved it. We probably didn't even see a quarter of it but that's really all we got this year so we'll take it.

Me and the bros

That was super funny. Calvin has finally figured how to wiggle his way out of his bouncer seat and I thought I'd let him do his thing this time instead of getting him back in. So he just flipped himself on his stomach and got down then held on for a minute before I caught him rolling on his side. It was so cute. And here comes trouble

We had never been to the Festival of trees and actually didn't really know much about it. But this year Savanna was doing a dance recital there and the Olsons invited us to go with them. It was so fun! They have the best home made treats ever and little boutique stuff and the whole concept of decorating a tree to be sold to donate to the Children hospital is such an amazing, Christmas spirit thing to do. I'd like to do one next year!

To be honest we were not really planning on going to our ward Christmas party this year. There was just a lot going on and we were just gonna skip this one. But then the people that were supposed to play Mary and Joseph got sick and couldn't make it to the party. We were asked to do it and figured that'd be fun. We were quite something!

December 3rd was a very special day for our family. Josan decided to be baptized a member of the church and we couldn't be more proud of him taking that important step in his life. Adam baptized Josan and Gage confirmed him. It was PERFECT! We felt the spirit so strongly and I just know that Mom was with us at that time.

A ton of people came. This is most -but not all- of them. Thank you so much to everyone that helped make that day so special for Josan!

The next day Josan was officially welcomed in our ward. I had to record and take pictures so I could show Adam. He couldn't be there cause he had left for a business trip earlier that morning.

Just a post church picture

This is a picture of Dad that he found in his stuff. What a cute boy! On the back it reads:
Bruce Allen Fox
Age 5 months
1953

Thank goodness for Facetime. It'd be so much harder to have Adam gone without it!

Pictures of Adam's business trip in Pittsburgh

This big boy now eats baby food! and he absolutely LOVES it!

Josan can't look too excited...cause that wouldn't be the cool thing to do...

On December 8th Nicole, Tammy and me took Grandma out to lunch for her birthday. Tammy got her an autographed book that Grandma wanted. After that I couldn't come close to a present as cool and I actually don't even remember it

Josan's last basketball game for this season. Him an Eli had such a good time together!

Mike took Adam and Josan to a Jazz game. They were in a suite and they both had an amazing time. I would have liked to go but it was at 7:30 and I figured I'd stay home with Cal. It's not like I'm a die hard Jazz fan anyway...

We went to an ugly sweater party and it was super fun. It was a nice little break being kids free too!:)

Ugly sweater club

Cal is getting so big! Along with baby food he loves gumming big people food too...

And helping Maman...

And being adorable.

Tradition oblige, we decorated a gingerbread house again this year. We struggled a little but it still tasted good.;) And Adam figured he'd be the photographer.;)

Our Elf Buddy has been with us as usual since December 1st. He kinda forgot to get back in one night and froze solid outside

Serious cuteness

Taryn got her mission call!!!!!!!!!!!!! This sweet, selfless, funny, gorgeous human will be an amazing Hermana....in Orsono, CHILE!!!

Had to have a little gift exchange with the Olsons:)

Checking out shower possibilities for our master bathroom. Buddy helped a ton;)

Olson Christmas party. We couldn't imagine our Christmas without the Olson party. It's always so much fun!

Big boy helping Maman again

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!! Look at that neck!!!!

This year for Christmas our main present for each other was a dream date. We went to dinner and got a couple massage. It was amazing!

Although, You know you are parents when your romantic date ends with all 4 of you at dinner...maybe in 16 years or so

It so fun to have a big bro to read you stories!

I cannot get enough of these boys!

Calvin is also starting to notice the dogs more. They're interesting now; not just part of the decor. And they are so good with him! They were great when Josan was little but they're much older now and not as playful and patient with kids so we were a little nervous to see how they'd be this time around. But they just go with the flow even if it means getting pinched and pulled by a sticky baby:)

Besties at play

Oh Dad...we had tomato soup and Dad had a bit of a bloody nose. One thing leading to another Dad ended up with a soup socked tissue up his nose! o_0

On Christmas Eve our family all got together at the Midvale Golden Coral and afterward we went to see Sing.

We will always remember our last Christmas day with Mom. It was just the 5 of us down in Logandale and it was so laid back and so nice to hang out together. We still miss her every single day. But especially during the holidays.

Christmas morning

That one was heavy...

Our loves

Just hanging out on Christmas morning

And under Josan's bed

Finally got our 7 months pics done....only 2 weeks late...😅We sure love our little guy more and more each day!💙

Olive Garden family date

For the New Years we drove to Logandale to be with Dad. We didn't have much planned anyways and Dad didn't want to make the drive 2 weeks in a row. So there we go!
We actually drove separate for the first little part of the drive. We met Kyle and Carrie off the freeway in Pleasant Grove so they could buy our good old car for Khabe. We sure had lots of drives with good ol' Betsy!

Got a really good run in while we were there. At home all I do is a couple miles these days. But I did 8 miles the first day. I'm not gonna lie the second half of those felt absolutely horrible. And then the next day I did 4. I'm pretty proud of myself for that!

Dad took us to the Seafood Buffet in Mesquite. We got there 10 minutes after it opened and we still waited in line for about an hour. But it sure was yummy!

After dinner the boys bowled a game. Adam dominated (surprise!) but all 3 boys had a great time.

On our way back to Dad's

I had never made crepes before but I gave it a try and man oh man was that delicious!

Ben found this gem in his stuff. cute boy!

My boys playing basketball. They had so much fun. Josan actually didn't want to do anything else.

Although he did want to go shooting though. He loves to go with the boys and shoot. Obviously Dad and Grandpa make sure that everything is safe!:)

Well, needless to say that 2016 has been one of the best one yet fr our family. We were blessed to welcome our little Calvin and bless him, and then see our 8 year old get baptized and confirmed. We are as happy as we've ever been and feel like the luckiest parents on Earth. Can't wait to see what 2017 brings!
