November

November is always one of our favorite but also most busy month of the year. Our boys are keeping us on our toes and are as much fun as boys can be. Post baby wise, I'm on a higher dose of anti-depressant for a while. The baby blues got the best of me and now the meds make a world of difference. Calvin doesn't quite sits on his own but he plays and gets entertain very easily. He still thinks that his big brother is the best thing in the world and is always in a good mood when they play. Josan is still an amazing big brother although he doesn't seem to get that babies are a lot more fragile than he'd want.

On November 2nd this gorgeous niece of ours turned 17! She is so funny, so patient and kind and the cutest girl ever! We're so lucky to have our Cecers!

On November 3rd we took our first trip as a family of 4. We were so blessed to go to Hawaii with the Olsons and had an amazing time. Josan's and Adam's favorite part was obviously the beaches, mine was the cultural aspect of being in Maui and coconuts and Calvin's seemed to be to wake up before sunrise every morning...stinker!

For some reason Budget had way overbooked their rentals and we had to wait for the previous renters to drop off the cars, then getting them detailed and then get on our way. It took us 2 hours. It was ridiculous. But we made it!

And we enjoyed the view right away! It was beautiful!

Well Calvin waited a little to enjoy the view I guess

The view from our room

Kaanapali beach was AMAZING!

This is on one of Calvin's many early mornings. We got up at about 3:30 or 4 and just chilled outside until everyone was up.

The sunrise sure was worth it though

He was such a happy boy. Who could blame him for being up so early?

We had to do a cliche Hawaiian flowers picture. Josan didnt care much for the flowers except to give his mom every single one he could find. Such a sweet boy!

Baby beach was probably one of our favorite places. The ocean was calm, there was no rocks, the beach was amazing and the kids just loved it. And if the kids loved it so did the parents...

On the road to Hana. This road took us 4 hours to end at the 7 Sacred Pools with a lot of really beautiful stops along the way. Then we had to drive the 4 hours back.

Sacred pools

Apparently the view isn't near as interesting as Josan's face...

We were the only ones to make our way down to get in the 7 sacred pools. It was pretty hard getting down there. We had to hop from rock to rock and it was slippery and kinda cold. Adam and Josan are the only ones that actually swam in it. It was nice to say we've been there. But to me it was not worth a whole day of driving

Hawaii sure is exhausting

I cant remember the name of that place but they sure had really yummy gelato!

This beach was right outside our hotel and went on for probably half a mile before hitting those big rocks. It was a really nice beach to walk on

The Luau

On our way to Hana we passed Paia beach and wanted to check it out before we left on our last day there. It sure was another gorgeous one!

And back home we go...

Happy birthday to one of my favorite girls ever!!!! Friends come and go but the last 10 years wouldn't have been the same without you! Love you Lori!!!

Our handsome church boys

Our little fox is 6 MONTHS old already!!!!!
He talks so much, scoots around a little, loves baby food and goes nuts for graham crackers. He sleeps great at night but mostly only cat naps during the day. He s definitely a mama s boy but he loves to play with Daddy and he thinks his big bro is the funniest person on the planet. We love our little Cal!!

We got BYU season tickets and they sure have been fun!

Happy 8th birthday to the most kind, caring, talented, smart and handsome boy in the world! We sure are lucky to have him in our lives! We love you Josan!!!!!

Our Thanksgiving was extremely low key this year. We had Dad with us and just made a small dinner for the 5 of us. It was nice but still really sad to go through the holidays without Mom.

Here's a couple of random pictures to end the month. We're exhausted. And extremely happy.
